Life is Unpredictable.

Moses Estate Planning, PLLC May 19, 2024

Life is unpredictable, and having a Living Will, Advance Health Care Directive, and Health Care Power of Attorney as part of your Estate Plan can help make sure that your medical wishes are honored if you are unable to speak for yourself. At the end of the day, if you don't make choices about what you want to have happen before a catastrophic medical event occurs, someone else (possibly even someone you might not know) might be making those important life decisions for you.

These documents also allow you to decide what happens to you if you were in a persistent, vegetative state. Some clients wish to remain on life support in such situation, while others want to do everything in the power to make sure that their medical providers "pull the plug" if the odds were not in their favor.

We encourage our clients to be proactive by creating an Advance Health Directive, Living Will, and Health Care Power of Attorney to formalize their health care wishes! We at Moses Estate Planning are here to advise and to help.
